The city where we operate is Alghero, splendid reality of the north Sardinia, famous for its beaches and for the beautiful historical centre, contained in the ancient fortifications, and among the various monuments the innumerable churches can be admired among which the cathedral of Saint Maria (visit our photographic books to admire our landscapes and to choose your excursion).
The Mountain Bike Porto Conte Escursioni proposes to the tourist, and the keen one, a series of routes (of different difficulties and length) that will bring you to visit the most suggestive landscapes, from the sight on the stupendous tiny bays of sand and rock, to the sheer reefs, up to reach the 361 meters of the Timidone mountain, situated inside the naturalistic oasis called Ark of Noè, state forest that belongs to the newborn natural Park of Porto Conte.
From its top the sight will be rapt in a variety of landscapes, from the only natural lake of Sardinia (Lake of Baratz), to the reefs of Porto Ferro, Porticciolo, Crystal Point, Plain island, Capocaccia, Punta Giglio, Mountain Dolla (436 meters) up to Fertilia and Alghero.
Not to neglect the historical sites like the Nuraghe Palmavera, at the foot of the homonym mountain, the Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju and the so many war surplus, from the second world war, among which the greatest of Punta Giglio. |
